E-article costs
Another instance of blatant self-promotion:
In the latest issue of J of Electronic Publishing, we have a
current-experience-based analysis of per-article costs for
electronic-only publication on the Scholarly Exchange-hosted OJS
platform:

The costs work out to two orders of magnitude less than many
publishers are now charging. I am certain that there will be
quibbles with methodology but the relative range of costs is
supportable...
