"Brilliance All Around: The Stained Glass of Sterling and Its Maker"
An illustrated talk by Gay Walker on Sterling Memorial Library's stained glass and on its maker, G. Owen Bonawit. It will explore the beauty of the windows within a larger architectural and decorative context. Walker is the Special Collections Librarian at Reed College Library and previously Curator of the Arts of the Book Collection and Head of Preservation at Yale University Library. She is also the author of Bonawit, Stained Glass and Yale.
Location: Sterling Memorial Library Lecture Hall followed by a reception with refreshments in the Memorabilia Room
