1. We discussed arrangements for the following fall orientation events and supplies:

   a. Computing@Yale (September 3) --

   Sue Lorimer will provide copy of script for placement in Instruction "Handouts" web subdirectory
   Andy will put out handouts on Friday afternoon and pick up on Monday

   b. Academic Fair (September 5) -- Barbara

   Barbara will ask Jeong about possibility of purchasing candy
   Pick up handouts from Jeong's office

   c. Graduate Student Fair (August 30; 1:30-3:30) -- Judy, Suzanne

   Pick up handouts from Jeong's office

   d. McDougal Center orientation sessions.

   Monday, August 28th, 10:00-11:30 a.m. -- Emily
   Monday, August 28th, 2:00-3:30 p.m. -- Sue Lorimer
   Tuesday, August 29th, 10:00-11:30 a.m. -- Sandy (this one is for international students)
   Thursday, August 31, 10:00-11:30 a.m. -- Marianna
   Thursday, August 31, 2:00-3:30 p.m. -- Laurel and Suzanne

   Handouts and evaluation forms will be on hand at the McDougal Center

   Re. handouts: Martha will give hard copy of Orbis trifold to Procurement office and will put a .pdf copy up in a new "Handouts" subdirectory of the Instruction web directory. Sue Lorimer will ask Jeong to send Martha copies of the tours and workshops brochures for placement in this subdirectory as well.

   **Evaluation form (http://www.library.yale.edu/instruction/evalform.htm) has now been revised and is linked to from Staff Instruction page.

2. We confirmed arrangements for the Refresher session for staff (Aug. 25 9:30 a.m.).
3. We confirmed arrangements for the scheduled research education workshops for the fall:

   Friday, October 27, 1-3 pm -- Andy

   Leftover Orbis trifolds and brochures should be placed in Electronic Classroom after the orientation events.

   Martha will also ask Jeong to put copies of the evaluation form in the bookcase near the instructor workshop.

4. We agreed on the following schedule for fall meetings: Sept. 21, Oct. 12, Oct. 26, Nov. 9, Dec. 14.
5. At our fall meetings we will investigate the Instruction web sites of other libraries as follows:
