Present: Marybeth Bean, Maureen Heher, Emily Horning (recording), Sandy Peterson, Diane Turner

Sandy discussed the reception of our draft document for service awards. Reaction from the SQI Council was generally positive. Some minor changes were proposed; Sandy outlined these to the group.

Much of the remainder of the discussion centered on our next project:drafting a policy statement on problem patrons. Various sources of potential information were offered: the University Security Manual and Annual Report of crime on campus, something called the Public Services Policy Manual (ca. 1983) which no one present could identify, and local departmental manuals or handbooks. Committee members offered to scour their offices and ask colleagues.

The meeting adjourned early at 4:15. Our next meeting will be on 10/19.
