Announcements
· Everyone should read revised LOST/MISSING draft and send comments
to Nicole
· Nicole contacted Fred about the secure server implementation,
and is waiting for a reply
· The indexing document from the OPAC group is forthcoming
· Kalee will send the URL for the new version of the Voyager
web OPAC when it is fully configured
The rest of the meeting focused on a discussion of the Voyager web
OPAC.
Labeling Suggestions:
--------------------------------
1. Uniform Title should be separately labeled.
2. The 'Database' button is confusing - many committee members thought
it led back to the 'Databases' page off the YUL front door.
3. The group doesn't like the wording for 'Post Limit' button - Sue
C-P suggested the use of the term 'Refine Search".
4. Title List screen - the group prefers the wording 'Location' to 'Library
Location'.
Questions:

1. Question: is search objective highlighted in Title Screen?
2. Question: can call number be highlighted in Title Screen?
New Web Design:
---------------------------
1. Proposed design - results page font is too small and hard to read;
the colors should present more contrast.
2. Proposed design - group prefers #2 with the title bar if it is possible
to end the current session when a user clicks on it.
Usability Study:

Sue Crockford-Peters recommended contacting the ADA group and including
them as part of the usability study.
