Meeting minutes for 4/23/02
Present: Carol Jones, Denise Hersey(Chair), Susan Burdick, Martha Clark,
Mark Gentry, Jennifer Kostelnik
Absent: Mary Angelotti, Barbara Amato, Maureen Jones
I. Announcements- Carol informed the group that we will not be able
to pay ILL invoices through Voyager. Instead, we will need to send the
invoices to the Business Office so they can pay them. We need to supply
them with the correct PTEAO. A question did arise as to whether Illiad
may be able to work with Oracle, which could streamline this process
in the future.
II. Electronic Document Delivery- The group revisited Jennifer's edited
draft of the EDD article and made final changes. Denise agreed to incorporate
the changes into the draft and send it out to everyone for final approval.
We hope to have the article included in NotaBene, yulib-l, and send
it out to our faculty members. We also hope to hold a library-wide forum
during which we will explain and publicize EDD more formally to our
staff. We also did a final edit of the EDD web pages. Next week we plan
to decide on an official date for EDD to "go live." Any library
that wishes to start using EDD may do so, however.
III. ILLIAD- We began to briefly look at the ILLIAD Customer interface.
WE will revisit these pages next week.
