Document Delivery Coordinating Committee
September 8, 2004

All units will start inserting flags in all outgoing ILL books on Monday, September 13. This has been coordinated with the shipping room. Thanks to Tony Ferraiolo for assistance with this.

Wednesday, September 15 is the date for the ILLiad celebration. Danuta Nitecki will host this event which will be in the Sterling Spoon from 3:00 - 4:30. All staff who work in document delivery and interlibrary loan are invited.

The meeting schedule for the remainder of this calendar year will be on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 1:00 - 3:00, room to be announced.

Carol reminded all of the documents that she made up for going through the steps for processing various ILL requests using ILLiad. She also brought to attention the List for Shares Libraries using ILLiad.

Susan suggested having a document delivery/interlibrary loan staff web page. This would provide staff with a place to pose questions as well as find information. We could use an FAQ format. It was also suggested that a similar page be set up for users.

Carol will be working on problems concerning printing, unfilled requests, invoicing and electronic delivery.
