PRINTED ITEMS BOUND OR TIPPED IN

Discrete printed items such as clippings, illustrations, or order forms bound or tipped into an item are noted briefly in a local note but are not separately cataloged unless specifically requested by Beinecke. Vendor and dealer descriptions are ignored. Extra-illustrated volumes are described as such in a local note and a 655 tracing is made for them.
