Use for belles-lettres about a specific locality.

- The third line is a cutter
for the author using C.A. Cutter's three figure author table.
- The fourth line is one-digit,
made up cutter number for the title.
- The fifth line is the four-digit
imprint date. Add a letter (b-z) designation to distinguish works issued
in the same year.
- For translations, the conventional
translation letters
are used after the cutter number for title.

Pseudonymous works
- Class all works by an author
who writes under multiple names in one location.
- Use the existing author cutter
if the author has been classed previously in Zc96.
- If the author is new to Zc96,
use the basic heading, if one exists, as defined by LCRI 22.2B.
- If there is not a basic heading,
use the name as it appears on the item. Class all new material by this
author at this location.
Anonymous works
If a work is by an anonymous author create a Cutter number using the first word
of the title.
