Committee
Charge
The newly formed Yale University Library Preservation Committee's mission
is to advise the head of preservation and the library administration on
preservation related needs and priorities. It will also assist the
preservation department in raising preservation awareness within the
library and campus-wide by sponsoring training activities, presenting
preservation awareness events and developing and disseminating
preservation related documents and publications. Committee meetings are
held monthly, usually the second Thursday of each month. In the coming
months agendas will be posted prior to the meeting and meeting minutes
will be posted here.
Committee membership
This committee is made up of representatives from across the library
system. The membership of this inaugural committee is:
