Special Collections Committee meeting of March 15, 2001

Present: Toby Appel, Richard Boursy, Elisabeth Fairman, George Miles, Richard Warren, Martha Smalley, Tom Hyry

1. The May 17 meeting is tentatively scheduled as a field trip to Walpole.

2. We decided to have occasional visitors from the non-library special collections, to talk about their policies and holdings.

3. We discussed policies and holdings related to film at our special collections

3. The next Special Collections Fair is scheduled for October 26, 2001.

5. We decided to make two additional pages for linkage off the Special Collections staff page
(http://www.library.yale.edu/special_collections/staffinfo.htm). One will provide information about vendors used by the various special collections at Yale and the other will provide information about unusual equipment held at Yale collections, that might be of interest or use to other collections.
