Besides the books, writing materials, and roll of manuscript on the table, there is a print of the Roman eagle from the Boccapadugli Gardens which Walpole acquired for Strawberry Hill, calling it Aone of the finest pieces of Greek sculpture in the world. This view of Walpole was perhaps the most frequently reproduced of his portraits and hung in his bedroom at Strawberry Hill.
