In a gold case with a lock of braided hair inside and a manuscript note, "Lady Laura Waldegrave's hair." The initials "ELW" are embroidered on the fabric on the back of the case. Apparently, Elizabeth Laura's portrait was at one time in this case, but was removed for her mother's portrait.
