John Chute took his inspiration for the presses at Strawberry Hill from this engraving in Walpole's copy of Dugdale's St. Paul's. Walpole wrote Bentley on 1 March 1754, "We have determined upon the plan for the library, which we find will fall in exactly with the proportions of the room, with no variations from the little door-case of St Paul's, but widening the larger arches."
