Lady Suffolk's House, Marble Hill, is on the right. When Wilson exhibited his View of the Thames near Richmond at the Society of Arts in 1762, Walpole added in his copy of the exhibition catalogue, "A part of Marble hill." Another version of this painting is in the National Gallery, London.
