  • You can COPY and PASTE from Orbis to ensure accuracy (especially with call numbers).
  • Put the full title -- do not abbreviate.
  • Include the publisher and date in the title field if you are requesting a book that needs to be ordered.
  • Loan Types: Closed Reserve = Title is held behind the circulation desk and patrons must check out the closed reserve item (charged to their account) for a one-hour loan period. Open Reserve = Title is shelved in the Open Reserve section of the reading room, is browsable, and does not circulate.
