INDICATE DEPARTMENT, COURSE #, CLASS SIZE, AND RESERVE TYPE (24 hour or 3 day)
BE HIGHLY SELECTIVE
Data from our reserve circulation system shows that many titles are underused for reserve reading.
CHOOSING RESERVE LOAN PERIODS: 24-Hour or 3-Day.
We suggest that 24-hour reserve be assigned to mandatory readings and 3-day reserve to secondary titles used to prepare papers or presentations. Information regarding 24-hour and 3-day reserves is available on-line.
WHEN TO ASSIGN? First 8 weeks or second 8 weeks?
It is important to make the distinction between what is needed during the first 8 weeks of the term and what can wait. Your cooperation in providing this information allows staff to prioritize their work and avoid delays
PRIORITY REQUESTS: Up to 5 titles.
We will do our best to have the titles for the first 8 weeks ready when classes start, but cannot guarantee it if your list is late. Please use the Priority Request Form or obtain a Priority Request form at Bass Library for the five titles you need most urgently in the first month.
