| EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Beinecke Library offers many opportunities for employment at the professional, managerial, clerical and technical, and student levels. Each semester the various Beinecke departments offer opportunities for employment to Yale students interested in learning more about work in archives and special collections. Contact the Yale University Library Human Resources Department to consider job opportunities in all of the Yale Libraries including the Beinecke.
BEINECKE RARE BOOK & MANUSCRIPT LIBRARY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM The Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library welcomes applications from current graduate students in library science or information studies, preservation, archives or related program for its newly constituted internship program. The program has been designed to provide practical experience to current graduate students interested in pursuing a career in technical services in a special collections setting. Interns will work in an area of their specific interest and have the opportunity to learn more about how special collection libraries and major research libraries are organized and function. Interns will undertake and complete a project based on their interests, skills and the needs of the Library. The Library highly encourages applicants from under represented communities to apply. The Beinecke Library has four internships available for the summer of 2008. The Beinecke is looking to host an intern in each of the following areas:
