2. NELINET OCLC NACO Training: List of Trainees

Committee members reviewed the draft list of trainees for the two NELINET training sessions on Oct. 19 and discussed local arrangements.

3. NELINET OCLC NACO Training: Manual

Committee members reviewed the latest draft of the training outline we had sent to NELINET and their first draft of a customized training manual based on that outline. Manon will communicate our requests for changes to Margaret.

4. Revision of YUL Documentation

Replacing RLIN with OCLC in our authority control documentation should be relatively straightforward. The committee decided to handle the revisions via e-mail closer to the training date.

5. Revised NACO Series Policies

A revised version of our local policies for creating series authority records was distributed:

Catalogers now have a little more leeway in deciding when an authority record should be created. The revisions were made in response to LC's announcement that they would no longer be creating series authority records or tracing series.

6. Response to proposed change to LCRI 26.1

Tthe following Yale response was sent to the Library of Congress regarding CPSO's proposed revision of LCRI 26.1 to allow the addition of qualifers, in cases of conflict, to acronyms in references:
