I. Subject Analysis
The following standard sets of subject headings should be used in most
cases. Note that the order and subdivisions of the headings vary depending
on the content and the focus of the item. Note also that because Haggadot
are liturgical works rather than sacred works, the presence of a commentary is
indicated solely by the work's "Subject Added Entry-Uniform Title
Heading" as opposed to the work's "Subject Added Entry-Uniform Title
Heading" qualified by a ‚vCommentaries.
(See the Subject Cataloging Manual, H1188)

II. Uniform Titles
Do not add date to uniform
title, as there is no provision for this in AACR2:
|
25.21. Jewish Liturgical Works 25.21A.
|
... whereas in the case of the Bible, it is explicitly mentioned in AACR2 that the date may be added:
25.18A13. Year
If the item was published over more than one year, add the earlier or earliest year. |
Language additions (AACR2 25.5C1): If an item is in two languages, name both. If one of the languages is the original language, name it second. Otherwise, name the languages in the following order: English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, other languages in alphabetic order of their names in English. If an item is in three or more languages, use Polyglot unless the original work is in three or more languages (e.g., a multilateral treaty), in which case give all the languages in the order specified above.
