- The World War I Experience
The World War I Experience is a re-grant awarded through the Collections Collaborative Project. Matthew Beacom is leading a group that is advising on metadata for the project. Current plans call for using the Yale Element Set. - Migrating Government Information from CD-ROMs
Gretchen Gano and Julie Linden were awarded a SCOPA grant in 2006 to migrate government information from CDs to an online repository and to provide metadata for the online format. Matthew Beacom advised on mapping MARC metadata for the CDs to DDI. Youn Noh created a MODS to DDI stylesheet for the project. Matthew and Youn will continue to advise on the project.
Past Projects
- Electronic Resource Record Loads
Jenn Nolte (Production Sytems, Integrated Systems & Programming) and Youn Noh developed policies and procedures for coordinating electronic resource record loads among selectors, catalogers, and IS&P staff. As part of the Catalog Department's vision to develop digital management and non-AACR metadata expertise in existing staff positions, the Catalog Management Team will be taking over our responsibilities for electronic resource record loads in 2007.
