Use one of these terms/phrases to describe the item, giving the number of scores and/or parts issued by the publisher.
Types of scores
score	a series of staves on which different instrumental and/or vocal parts of a musical work are written, one under the other in vertical alignment, so that the parts may be read simultaneouly
condensed score	a musical score giving only the principal instrumental and/or vocal parts on a minimum number of staves, and generally organized by instrumental sections
miniature score	a musical score not primarily intended for performance use, with the notation and/or text reduced in size (regardless of size; the term "miniature" is not dependent on height, but the function of the score; this designation is to be eliminated in RDA)
vocal score	a score showing all vocals parts, with accompaniment, if any, arranged for keyboard instrument. This term is not used for used for a work that is originally unaccompanied or for a work with the accompaniment originally for keyboard instrument.
piano score	a reduction of an orchestral score to a version for piano, on two staves
chorus score	a score of a vocal work showing only the chorus parts, with accompaniment, if any, arranged for keyboard instrument
close score	a musical score giving all of the parts on a minimum number of staves, normally two, as with hymns.
Printed music not in score format
part	the written or printed copy of one or more (but not all) of the participating instrumental and/or vocal parts in a musical work, for the use of one or more performers
piano [violin, etc.] conductor part	a performance part for a particular instrument of an ensemble to which cues have been added for the other instruments to permit the performer of the part also to conduct the performance.
p. of music	music for a solo instrument  (even in the case of multiple staves as in piano music or organ music)
special types	use the appropriate term for special types of music (choir book; table book, etc.)

Applying the term "miniature" is not dependent on height, but the function of the score. Rule 5.5B1, footnote 1 gives the definition of miniature score as a score reduced in size and not intended primarily for performance. The definition found in App. D of AACR2r, is a musical scores not primarily intended for performance, with the notation and/or text reduced in size.

Unusual situations
How do you describe a score in the 300 field when the score is in a cover that is 28 cm high, but the music is to be played horizontally, so it is 21 x 28 cm:       Jay Weitz's answer: The implication of AACR2 2.5D1 (in reference back from 5.5D) is that the height is the measurement of the binding (that is, the spine), so that would be the determining factor. If the item is bound along the 28 cm. side, the dimension in 300 subfield would be 28 cm. If the item is bound along the 21 cm. side, the dimension would be 21 x 28 cm., according to Rule 2.5D2. Guess it doesn't really matter which way the title reads.
