Library Archivists
Archivists at the Yale Library have a central place in the scholarly life of the University. In addition to managing archival materials, they advise researchers and facilitate access to Yale’s unique holdings. They serve faculty, students, alumni, the New Haven community, the national and international scholarly world, and the general public.
The Yale Library is seeking to endow three archivist positions: Chief Research Archivist, Manuscripts & Archives Collection; Systems and Digital Resources Archivist, Manuscripts & Archives Collection; and Curator of Architectural Archives, Manuscripts & Archives Collection. New endowment funding will provide lasting support for these positions, helping to defray salaries and benefits and freeing other resources for the library’s operating budget.
