Settings: Windows Vista
In order to use right-to-left languages such as Hebrew in Windows, complex scripts must be activated.
Activation of Complex Scripts:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Regional and Language Options.
(Note: In category view select Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options and click Add Other Languages.)
Click the Languages tab.
Under Supplemental Language Support, check the box next to "Install files for complex scripts and right-to-left languages."
MS Word: Set default Complex Script font for Hebrew
In MS Word click Format from the main menu.
Click Font.
Under Complex Scripts select SBL Hebrew.
(Note: If the font is not available to select, close all MS Word files and begin a new session of Word.)
Click OK.
