This guide provides an overview of archives and manuscript collections held at the Yale Divinity Library, in both original and microform format. Online finding aids are available for all of the original collections and some of the microform collections. Links to finding aids are available within this guide, or you can search across all the online finding aids by using the Yale Finding Aid Database search form. Personal Papers Collections Archives of Organizations Microfilm & Microfiche Collections Pamphlet Collections Geographical index Abbreviations Overview of Yale Divinity Library Special Collections NB: Many collections are now stored at an off-campus shelving facility. If you wish to examine material from these collections in the Special Collections Reading Room on the day of your arrival at the Yale Divinity Library, you must submit an electronic Request Form in advance. Boxes requested before 4:00 p.m. will be retrieved for use the next weekday. Consult the online finding aids linked to from the "Personal Papers" and "Archives of Organizations" guides to determine which boxes you wish to retrieve.
