Image Database for Biblical Studies: a faculty-library initiative
at Yale Divinity School that provides digital resources for teaching
and research in the field of Biblical studies. Images can be browsed
under four categories: Biblical Book, Geographical Location, Object
Type, Topic.
- ATLA
Cooperative Digital Resources Initiative: project sponsored
by the American Theological Library Association. You can search
by keyword or browse available collections. Collections of relevance
to Biblical studies include: Coins from ancient Greek, Roman, and
Byzantine periods; Printed Images from the Sixteenth Century (incl.
re. Biblical stories); Oxyrhynchus Papyri; Biblical Iconography:
French Medieval Cathedrals

initiative at Yale Divinity School that provides digital resources
for teaching and research related to the history of Christianity.

of Christian Art: produced at Princeton University, can presently
provide access to complex information on approximately 200,000 photographic
reproductions of Christian art in the east and west from early apostolic
times up to 1400 A.D.
- ArtSTOR:
founded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, with a mission to use
digital technology to enhance scholarship, teaching and learning
in the arts and associated fields.
- Amico
Library (Art History Images):consists of over 90,000 digital
images of works of art from ancient to contemporary times representing
world-wide cultural heritage.
