A Quick Guide to Using the World-Wide Web

There are only two things you need to know to start using the World-Wide Web:

Scrolling down a document

When a document is bigger than can be displayed on the screen, you will see a scroll bar on the right hand side of the window. To move down the document, click on the down arrow. To move back up the document, click on the up arrow. Try it now...

Links

Links take you to other documents when you click on them with the mouse. That's what you did to get to these instructions. They are underlined (like this)so you can recognize them. Click on this link, or this one, to try links out.

Some links are from images instead of text, but they work the same way. Try clicking on this button to try it out.
