Tips on using Logos Bible Software : Scholar's Library

Logos Bible Software is located on Workstation B (in Trowbridge Reference Room), Workstation D (in Marvin Pope Biblical Seminar Room) and on the computers in L107 (Library Computer Cluster). Look for the Libronix icon in the Start menu or on desktop:
To use the Passage guide for exegetical work, click on the "Home" button on the tool bar:

Enter the Bible passage you want to study and choose which type of automated report you want:

PASSAGE GUIDE: This is an automated report that lists links to resources for a passage, including commentaries and topics. The Passage Guide provides links to additional tools in a yellow box at top, including:
Passage in Parallel Versions,
Passage in All Versions, Word Study Guide, Exegetical Guide.

EXEGETICAL GUIDE: This is an automated report that exegetes a passage from a Hebrew or Greek Bible, i.e., *from the original text*. It lists the lemma (root word) and provides KeyLink information for each word. This report does not rely on Strong's numbers.

WORD STUDY GUIDE: This is an automated report that exegetes a passage from a Bible containing Strong's numbers. It lists the Strong's number and provides Strong's number KeyLink information for each word. This is the most direct way to do a *concordance search* - click on the first KeyLink: "Generate Englishman's Concordance"
