of the Yale Divinity Library's manuscript and archival holdings are
shelved at the off-campus Library Shelving Facility.
Please complete and submit this form at least two business days before
you wish to view the materials.

Divinity School Library. If permission is granted, I agree to comply
with the Library's security policies and terms governing use of such

Your application for permission to examine manuscript material will
be examined by the Divinity Library Special Collections staff. Should
there be any reason to deny permission, you will be notified; otherwise
you can assume that the material will be made available as requested.

Box request form:
Please
use the online finding aids to identify the material you would like to
examine and enter the following information in order to have it retrieved
to the Yale Divinity Library Special Collections Reading Room.
If you want material from more than two record groups, please submit additional
forms. Please note that we do not want to know folder numbers; only whole
boxes are retrieved. If you have any question about the relevance of the
material you are requesting for your area of research, please contact
Martha Smalley, Divinity
Library Special Collections Librarian.
A
total of ten boxes can be in use by a researcher at any one time.
