What is DPIP?The purpose of the Library's Digital Production & Integration Program (DPIP) is to plan, coordinate, and streamline digitization activities in collaboration with numerous library and university units. DPIP's primary goal is to satisfy important unmet needs. DPIP will develop and disseminate the skills and capabilities necessary to build digital collections of enduring research value and hopes to serve as a catalyst for increased concentration on digital infrastructure throughout the library. DPIP consists of three closely intertwined core services: 1) assessment and usability, 2) digital consulting and referral, 3) digital production, outsourcing, and project management.
