Option 1: Search Orbis from within EndNote
- From the EndNote "Tools" menu select "Online Search " and connect with file "Yale U."
Option 2: Save records from Orbis/Import them to EndNote
Note: Use option 2 if you want to import records from your Orbis Bookbag.

- From Orbis, go to "Save Options" at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the download format "Full Format" from the pull down menu
and click on Print/Save.
- From your Web browser's File menu, select "Save As..." and save the file.
- From the EndNote File menu select Import.
- Click "Choose File" and locate the file you just downloaded from Orbis. Choose the import option called "Yale U" from the drop down menu. (The first time you may have to select "Other filters..." and pick it from the complete list of filters.) Note: If your records include non-Roman (Unicode) characters, from the "Text Translation" menu choose "Unicode (UTF-8)"
- Click the Import button and the records will be transferred to your EndNote
library.

Note: When the WilsonWeb directions were last revised on 12/20/06 the direct export option into EndNote did not work properly. Alternatively follow the directions below for saving records and importing them into EndNote. If you have problems getting the records to import correctly, download the most recent WilsonWeb filter from the EndNote site to your EndNote--Filters folder.
- click the "Print Email Save" button
- Under "Saving, Citing and Formatting for bibliographic software" make the following selections:
Fields: All citation fields
Format: Plain Text
Include: Record Numbers
- Click "Save."
- A new Web page will display with the records. From your Web browser, save the page as a text file.
- From EndNote's File menu, select Import.
