Guerre d'Algerie: Une Histoire par la radio et l'image (Paris: La Decouverte, 1996): This multimedia CD-ROM offers a clear historical view of the events of France's 1954-62 war in Algeria. It contains over forty hours of extracts from sound archives, consisting of diverse materials transmitted by French public radio between 1946 and 1962. The ensemble is completed by a sound "panorama" describing the history of the war, by 150 photographs of important actors and events, and by numerous commentaries, analyses, biographies, bibliographies, and chronologies.
