Notes from this SFX Version 3 Menu Task Force
June 23, 2005

1. The top banner is distorted: the size of the table containing the title and source of the citation must be the same.
2. No Fulltext available message: change "reference" to "item" (to be consistent with other wording).
3. Turn off the navigation bars in the browser for the menu
4. The size of the main table in the menu will be set to an absolute value instead of a relative percentage: about 450 pixels
5. "Brought to you by" text in the footer to be deleted
6. Change the javascript behavior for the GO button to launch a window that is wider and shorter
7. Change text for capture citation to be "citation and URL"
8. Fix the Web of Science wording so that it is not Web of Science Web of Science
9. The third Get Help group: move this down slightly so that it is clearly separate from the Related Library Services. Possibly remove the toggle option.
10. Please look at a menu and comment on the background color on your monitor

Why does Endnote not display in many instances
Ask Ex Libris to investigate the problem with the get Author search of Web of Science--the code inserts an extra author initial which is then causing an incorrect search in WOS

Bonnie will work on a header which will be close to what is currently on the old Citation Linker page. There is also a small GO button on the page which will be replaced today with a new YALE LINKS button.
