"A first step toward freeing London's data"

The prototype London's Datastore offers "data packages" from "Alcohol Related Hospital Admissions" to "Years of Life Lost Due to Suicide."

Sounds grim, but those represent the first and last entries in the current A-Z list. Head for the middle of the alphabet to find "Mayor's Office Gifts and Hospitality Register" and other Mayor's Office data.

Many more data packages will be launched by the end of January 2010, at which point the list will run from "18 Weeks Referral to Treatment" to "Young People and Alcohol".
