Yale Library now offers access to the database Confidential Print: North America.

"The Confidential Print series issued by the Foreign and Colonial Offices since c1820...originated out of a need for the Government to preserve all of the most important papers generated by the Foreign and Colonial Offices. Some of these were one page letters or telegrams – others were large volumes or texts of treaties. All items marked ‘Confidential Print’ were printed and circulated immediately to leading officials in the Foreign Office, to the Cabinet, and to Heads of British missions abroad." Yale Library now offers access to the database The Nixon Years, 1969-1974.

The database "provides complete FCO 7 and FCO 82 files from The National Archives, Kew, for the entire period of the Nixon administration, 1969-1974. Top level Anglo-American discussions and briefing papers dominate this project. There is also a wealth of material on social conditions, domestic reforms, trade, culture and the environment. FCO and British Embassy analyses of US policy decisions, White House staff appointments and UN discussions, views on Europe, the deployment of F111 aircraft on US airbases in the UK and Nixon’s battles over funding from Congress, visits to the US by both Wilson and Heath, files on the internal situation in the US and domestic reform all feature strongly. There are detailed assessments of all the changes brought about by the Presidential Elections of 1972." Read more, and search or browse the database.

Yale University Library has recently purchased the Digital National Security Archive collection The United States and the Two Koreas: 1969-2000, a "collection of recently declassified records documenting the history of U.S. policy toward and relations with South and North Korea from the Nixon to the Clinton administrations. The records cover a wide range of issues, including foreign policy, defense policy, economic and trade relations, and intelligence assessments."
