The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has released MetaLib, a federated search tool that retrieves reports, articles, and citations by simultaneously searching across multiple databases. The initial release of GPO MetaLib contains 53 federal government databases.

The Basic search includes databases from Library of Congress, National Archives, Environmental Protection Agency, National Agricultural Library, National Library of Medicine, and more.

Use the Advanced screen to search subject groups such as Defense + Military, History, Business + Economy, Science + Technology, and more.

The Lyndon B. Johnson Library has posted online the full text of more than 14,000 pages of LBJ's daily diaries, spanning 3,400 days from his Senate years through his presidency.
