Screenplays and Scripts
Scripts and screenplays can be located in Orbis in two ways:
Method 1: Do a title search for the name of the film. Look for entries that are not marked as videorecording or visual.
For example, a search for the title Almost Famous results in:
| # | Title | Author | Full Title | Imprint | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [ 1 ] | Almost famous |
Almost famous [videorecording] / Dreamworks Pictures and Columbia Pictures present a Vinyl Films production, a Cameron Crowe Film ; produced by Cameron Crowe, Ian Bryce ; written and directed by Cameron Crowe. | Universal City, CA : DreamWorks Home Entertainment, [2001], c2000. | |||

| [ 2 ] | Almost famous |
Almost famous [videorecording] / Dreamworks Pictures and Columbia Pictures presents a Vinyl Films production ; produced by Cameron Crowe, Ian Bryce ; written and directed by Cameron Crowe. | Universal City, CA : DreamWorks Home Entertainment, [2001]. | |||

| [ 3 ] | Almost famous / | Crowe, Cameron, 1957- | Almost famous / Cameron Crowe. | London : Faber and Faber, c2000. | |||
| [ 4 ] | Almost famous / | Small, David, 1945- | Almost famous / David Small. | New York : W.W. Norton, c1982. | |||
Items 1 and 2 are videorecordings. Item 3 is the filmscript. The last entry is an earlier novel with the same title but (in this case) unrelated. (The apparent links in the example are not active.)
Method 2: Do a keyword search for the name of the film encloded in quotation marks, followed by not videorecording. For example, "Almost Famous" not videorecording. This results in the following:
| # | Author | Full Title | Imprint | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [ 1 ] | Crowe, Cameron, 1957- | Almost famous / Cameron Crowe. | London : Faber and Faber, c2000. | |||
| [ 2 ] | Small, David, 1945- | Almost famous / David Small. | New York : W.W. Norton, c1982. | |||
