Data Base (U.S. Census Bureau) is a compilation of demographic and
socio-economic data created in the US Census Bureau's International Programs
Center.

Gives users access to a wide range of education, science,technology,culture and communication statistics maintained in the UNESCO database.
- World
Population Prospects (UNDP, New York) Texts and charts from the United
Nations covering world population estimates and projects, and historical
world population growth as well as fertility, child mortality, impact of
AIDS and migration flows in particular regions.
Environment
- Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis
Center at Oak Ridge National Laboratory is the primary global-change
data and information analysis center of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
- The IPCC Data Distribution Centre:
Gateway facilitates the timely distribution of a consistent set of up-to-date
scenarios of changes in climate and related environmental and socio-economic
factors for use in climate impacts assessments. The site also contains
links to other climate change centers.
Security
- Integrating Fact Databases
A joint project by SIPRI and the International Relations and Security Network
(ISN). The Integrating Fact Databases is an ongoing project engaged in creating a federated
system of individual databases at different geographic locations, accessible through a single integrated
user platform.
- Interstate System, 1816-1997
(Penn State) is a revised version of the state list periodically updated
and distributed by the Correlates of War (COW) Project at the University
of Michigan. This version extends the temporal domain of the collection to
1997 and dates system membership at the day level.
- Militarized Interstate Disputes
v 2.10 (Penn State) is a revised version of the Militarized Interstate
Dispute (MID) data collection compiled by the Correlates of War (COW) Project.
It covers the years 1816-1992 and provides information about conflicts in
which one or more states threatens or uses force against one or more other
states.
- POLITY
Data Archive is a widely used source of cross-national, longitudinal
data on the authority characteristics of modern polities. It is most widely
used for its assessments of the degree of democracy and autocracy in the
political structures of modern countries.

policies and economic growth. This web site was designed to help disseminate

U.S. and worldwide scientific, technical, engineering, and business-related information.

of business, economic, and trade databases. Access is free for users with
a Yale domain address. Databases include: National Trade Data Bank, Economic
Bulletin Board of news and leads, Global Business Procurement Opportunities,
and Bureau of Economic Analysis Information.
