Date:  July 31, 2006, 10:30 a.m.

Present: Bobbie Pilette, Kevin Glick, Audrey Novak, Rebekah Irwin, E.C. Schroeder, David Gewirtz

Kevin walked us through Ron Jantz’s presentation from the Fedora Users Conference, June 2006. www.lib.virginia.edu/digital/fedoraconf/presentations/fedora_2006-2_jantz.ppt .  This was a means of familiarizing the DPC with the direction the Fedora Preservation Services Working Group was taking.  After going through the power point, it was decided that DPC is definitely interested in participating at the next Fedora PresWG meeting on August 10th here at Yale.

David Gewirtz briefly presented a spreadsheet that depicts the service-oriented architecture – web service view for library repository requirements.  Further discussion and explanation will take place at the next meeting on Thursday, August 3rd.

·        Each team will continue to work on their respective tasks posting via email documents for comments by the committee as a whole.
