The Integrated Library Architecture Committee is responsible to the
Integrated Access Council (IAC) for creating, distributing, monitoring and
enhancing an enterprise architecture for library system projects and
programs with the objective of facilitating federated development efforts,
reducing systems incompatibilities, and maximizing portability of system
components. The work products of the committee will enable the IAC to make
high level resource allocations based on risk assessments and
recommendations for change. There are three focuses of attention, for
which subgroups may be formed for action, which will be subsequently
reviewed and approved by the full committee:
