International Digital Projects is a program within Collection Development at Yale University Library.

Elizabeth Beaudin is the Manager, International Digital Projects
Sphere of activities:
- project management for Project AMEEL (Arabic and
Middle Eastern Electronic Library), Yale-SOAS Islamic Manuscript Gallery - an NEH-JISC funded project,
Gateway to Gazettes funded by the Department of Education,
and sponsorship of digitization of Joel Sumner Smith catalogued books and serials
- technical support for OARE (Open Access to Resources on the Environment)
- design and development of open source software for new digital libraries
- grant writing
- supervision of staff members and student workers for digital projects
- administration of databases, servers, and data loads for OACIS union catalog and new digital repositories

Graziano Krätli is the International Digital Projects Librarian.
Sphere of activities:
- project lead for digitization of Joel Sumner Smith collecction
- project manager for Latin American pamphlets collection
- coordinates schedules and assignments for student workers
- responsible for project support for OARE
- responsible for content management for OARE
- oversee user support and website presentation (www.oaresciences.org)
- coordinate technical activities with staff at UNEP and WHO
- assist with publisher and partner communications
- coordinate digitization work-flow for the AMEEL and Arcadia projects
- review and produce AMEEL project documentation

- processes raw images to optimize them for the OCR process

- listens to and identify contents of tapes recorded in Arabic
- describes the content of each tape in English and in Arabic by keying in
information such as date of broadcast, identification of speakers, subjects discussed,
and other helpful details
- verifies existing information available for the audio tapes
- checks specific names and details related to the tapes
- searches and verifies data with incomplete information or source material in
databases by connecting to Internet sites
