RefWorks

Check Workshops & Tutorials for RefWorks classes but the following instructions will explain how to start.

The first time you login to RefWorks you must register for an individual account.

(Do not use your Yale NetID and NetID password.) You only need to register once in order to access RefWorks from any Yale networked computer (or any computer with Internet access when you use the proxy server.)

Once you have created a RefWorks account, you can build your personal library of citations. The best way to do this is to pull citations from research databases, or the library's catalog, Orbis. For the majority of research databases, you will be able to save citaitons and later import them to RefWorks.

Quick Start Guide (from RefWorks). A very brief guide from RefWorks available in PDF.

More information about RefWorks is here.
