How to Find Journal Articles

Step Four: Locate the Text
Through a List of Electronic Journals

Select from the alphabetical list of electronic journals at Yale.

  • This list may include titles not yet found in Orbis, BUT
  • This list doesn't indicate the relation of the electronic journal to its printed counterpart (if there is one), AND
  • This list may not include journal titles which may be available on an article-by-article basis through some electronic indexes to which Yale subscribes, such as Academic Universe.

You can search by

  • Titles: click on Starts with, Contains, or Exact and enter your terms in the search box.
  • click on Subjects. On the next page highlight a subject term and then a sub-catagory of that subject
  • click on More Options. On the next page and search by Title, ISSN, Vendor or general Subject.
List(s) of journal titles will appear further down the page.
