We have found that the most successful classes use a combination of these but the hands-on approach is central.
Didactic: straightforward lecture approach - good for background info
Demonstration: showing attendees who watch only by viewing the elevated display monitors
Hands-on: giving the attendees the opportunity to perform tasks at their own stations. This is the key to successful learning in the electronic classroom.
Guided exercises: handouts that attendees can use to follow along or as a reference tool after the class.
