Finding time for continuing education sessions for yourself, time to read/participate in relevant listservs, attend relevant meetings such as this one, etc. All of these are important to stay on top of what to teach and how in an electronic environment.
Listservs: BI-L, Nettrain, Netinlib, Medlib, etc.
Meetings: department meetings, library faculty meetings, etc.
Vertical file: begin a database of citations
CE: often local or regional (such as MLA chapter activities)
Professional Conferences: LOEX, WILU, SLA, MLA, etc.
