ClariNews
All about ClariNews
ClariNews delivers news electronically, drawing primarily on wire
services such as Reuters and United Press International (UPI). There are over
500 newsgroups that are organized by category, including business, general,
international, and sports news; technical news and information; stock reports;
and entertainment news. ClariNews also carries photographs distributed by news
wires, press releases from companies, and some syndicated features, including
comics and editorial cartoons. Over 3,000 articles are added around the clock
every day.
ClariNews is available as a text-based newsfeed in the Usenet news format,
to which you have access through Pine on your Pantheon account. It is also
available on the Web from the Databases page of the Research Workstation.
