See how    1. FINDING CLARINEWS GROUPS IN PINE

When you get to the main menu in Pine, notice that the command "List" is highlighted. Hit enter (or return) to bring up the list of folders in Pine. The first group of lists you will see are your email folders. Using the spacebar on your keyboard, scroll down past your mail folders to the list of newsgroups.

ClariNews file names begin with word "clari" followed by a period (for example, "clari.biz.industry.misc." or "clari.living.history"). To search for all ClariNews files, type A to "Subscribe," then type clari. and hit enter. This will search for all groups beginning with the string of characters "clari."
