See How 6. Limit to a particular date or range of dates

Dates should be formatted as month/date/year (e.g., 2/10/98).

There are two ways to limit dates in Academic Universe:

1. Use the Date limiters in the search form from the drop down menu

   
   
   

2. For more precise control use Date segment searches.

• Examples

• From: Aug 3, 1997 To: 08/03/97
• From:July 5, 1996 To: searches all documents published on or after July 5, 1996
• From: To: 9/15/96 searches all documents published on or before September 15, 1996.
• From: 1995 To:8/96 searches documents published on or between January 1, 1995 and August 31, 1996.
