ENSSIB Library Intern, September - November 2001

Nathalie Fargier's three-month internship at the Yale University Library focused primarily on electronic resources and collections, and particularly on the management of electronic journals and related licencing issues.

A Political Science graduate, Natahalie also has a post-graduate diploma in Public Policies and in Library Information Science from the École nationale supérieure des sciences de l’information et des bibliothèques (ENSSIB), which sponsored and funded her internship.

Founded in 1992 as a successor to the École nationale supérieure de bibliothécaires (ENSB), ENSSIB is France's national school for information and librarianship. Directly administered by the Ministry for Higher Education and Research, it trains library and information managers and carries out research in the fields of information science, librarianship and the history of the book.
