Training and Backup OPAC Information
- 'Torbis' Training OPAC
- The 'torbis' training OPAC is available between 8:00am and Midnight daily. Torbis is the OPAC for the "TOrbis - train" region that staff access with acquisitions, cataloging, and circulation clients through the VoyagerIniFileChanger program.
Records created, modified, and circulated in the TOrbis Cataloging, Acquisitions, and Circulation modules will appear in this OPAC.
Connect to 'http://torbis.library.yale.edu' to see how test records appear in the OPAC. The torbis OPAC may also be used for bibliographic instruction and other classes in the event that some portion of the production OPAC search functionality isn't working (if the Keyword index is down, for example).
WARNING! Data in the 'Torbis' OPAC is based on a copy of the production database that is frequently several months out-of-date. Search the title "Where am I" to determine when the copy was created. The region also contains staff test records that do not exist in production Orbis.
- Backup OPAC

Readers are forwarded to the Deleon OPAC via a web page that is automatically generated when production Orbis is down.
